# LeakTrace

> LeakTrace checks authorised individual email addresses against the connected, indexed breach and exposure sources available to the service, then presents any reported findings and practical guidance.

## Service scope

- Checks are performed for one email address at a time. A company may add specific addresses it is authorised to assess; LeakTrace does not scan or monitor an entire company domain and does not scan a company’s addresses all at once.
- LeakTrace does not access an email inbox or ask for an email account password.
- Results reflect matching records in the sources checked at the time. A result with no findings does not prove an address has never been exposed or that no other records exist.
- A reported finding does not prove that an account was accessed or is currently compromised.
- Completed reports with findings include available source details, explanations and recommendations. A scan with no findings, a failed scan or an incomplete scan does not trigger a payment prompt.
- A scan reports findings and guidance; it does not remove information from other services or guarantee removal.
- Ongoing rechecks are opt-in and available with eligible subscription plans. They are not real-time mailbox monitoring.
