1. ACCEPTABLE USE & OSINT RESTRICTIONS
LeakTrace provides a digital footprint assessment tool for personal security and authorized checks of individually submitted email addresses. Business accounts may include addresses managed for different organisations, but each address must be specifically listed and the account operator must have authority to submit it. You are strictly prohibited from using the LeakTrace platform, search interfaces, or data queries to: - Conduct unauthorized Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering on individuals without their express, documented consent. - Stalk, harass, intimidate, or track any third party. - Compile competitive intelligence or target lists for malicious exploitation. You must affirm that you own the email address or have permission to assess it before requesting a scan. Additional verification is required where the service provides it. Account verification and payment do not themselves establish authority to assess another person's address. Attempts to bypass consent, verification or access controls may result in account suspension or termination, subject to applicable law.
2. "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
LEAKTRACE PROVIDES ITS DATA SELECTION, BREACH METRICS, AND RISK ASSESSMENTS "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", SUBJECT TO RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW. RESULTS DEPEND ON THE CONNECTED SOURCES AND DATASETS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE LOOKUP; COMPLETE, ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE COVERAGE IS NOT GUARANTEED. A REPORTED ASSOCIATION DOES NOT PROVE CURRENT COMPANY POSSESSION, SPAM SENDING OR ACCOUNT ACCESS, AND NO MATCHES DO NOT ESTABLISH SAFETY. LEAKTRACE REPORTS WHETHER PASSWORD DATA WAS EXPOSED BUT DOES NOT RECOVER, DISPLAY, OR DECRYPT PLAINTEXT PASSWORDS. THIS PLATFORM DOES NOT CONSTITUTE FORMAL CYBERSECURITY, ARCHITECTURAL, OR LEGAL COUNSEL.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LEAKTRACE, ITS DIRECTORS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM. LEAKTRACE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING HENCEFORTH SHALL BE STRICTLY CAPPED AT THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO LEAKTRACE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
4. ARBITRATION AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DISPUTES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION UNDER THE RULES OF THE LONDON COURT OF INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION (LCIA) OR THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION (AAA), DEPENDING ON USER JURISDICTION. ANY CLASS-ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION WAIVER APPLIES ONLY WHERE LAWFUL AND DOES NOT REMOVE MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS OR ACCESS TO COURTS WHERE PROTECTED BY LAW.
5. PAYMENTS AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY
Paid plan status is granted after payment has been confirmed, not simply after returning from checkout. No-findings, failed and incomplete scan results do not trigger a payment prompt. Completed finding reports require paid access. Scan outcomes do not cancel subscriptions. A £5.99 one-off purchase unlocks the purchased findings report and later completed findings reports for the same normalized email after payment, when accessed through the verified account associated with that email. It does not include continuous monitoring or alerts. Monthly plans, paid business seat increases and the optional per-email deletion add-on are offered only after the required monitoring and delivery checks pass. New recurring checkout, paid seat increases and add-on activation are blocked when the relevant readiness checks fail or cannot be completed. One-off completed-report purchases remain available. The deletion add-on authorizes automatic submission of notices for eligible existing and future findings linked to monitored addresses after Stripe confirms payment. The customer confirms authority to act for each address and legal eligibility. Notices are sent only to operator-reviewed privacy contacts; delivery does not confirm erasure. The Business Email Plan costs £19.99 per selected seat per month. The account operator must attest that they are authorised to manage the account and submit each listed email address for an individual check, including addresses managed for another organisation, and that applicable privacy, notice and consultation requirements have been met. For each imported list, the operator must also explicitly authorize one initial check per listed address, ongoing daily monitoring, and email alerts for new findings. LeakTrace does not verify who controls each inbox. Only individually listed addresses are checked; multiple organisations may be represented in one account, and searches for unlisted addresses or company-wide/domain-wide scans are not performed. Prices and quantities are shown before payment. Test-mode transactions are identified as such and do not charge real money. Contact LeakTrace about service or billing issues.
6. MONITORING AND DELETION NOTICES
Eligible Pro and Family accounts can opt into daily indexed-source rechecks when monitoring is available. For the Business Email Plan, the operator's explicit authorization during list upload starts one initial check per listed address and enables daily indexed-source rechecks. Monitoring checks exposure records, not mailbox contents, and email alerts concern new findings only. Customer verification and recovery emails are sent on request; arrival depends on the configured delivery service. When a paid deletion add-on is active and payment is confirmed, eligible notices for existing and future findings are submitted automatically for monitored addresses. Add-on selection is the customer's one-time authorization and confirmation of authority and legal eligibility. Notices are sent only to operator-reviewed privacy contacts. Queueing, submission, delivery and failure are recorded separately. Neither provider acceptance nor delivery confirms that a recipient read a notice, that a particular legal right applies, or that data was erased.
